Visiting Saija as a group

Saija is the ideal destination for groups of all sizes. Thanks to our wonderful location and the many activities on offer locally, there is plenty to see and do all year round. You can hike, bike, fish, go boating and even see a working husky farm and go for a walk with a husky. In the winter time you may take part in our husky or snowmobile safari or explore the nature surroundings on cross-country skis, on fatbike or on snowshoes.

Would you like to get to know a piece of local culture through a visit to the childhood home of a famous Finnish author Kalle Päätalo? Or to take time to relax in the gentle heat of a traditional smoke sauna, followed by a traditional dinner made with local ingredients, served either in our dining room or in the more informal setting of our kota hut?
